About Pullman Park

Located at 550 West 4th Street, Pullman Park spans 10 acres in Michigan City’s northwest section and offers a wide range of amenities including professionally surfaced, lighted basketball courts, a skate park, ADA accessible playground, drinking fountains, picnic shelters, benches, year-round restrooms, bike rack, and off-street parking.

As a hub for both neighborhood and citywide gatherings, the park is popular for reunions, church events, and recreational sports. It’s also home to the Michigan City Skate Park, one of the Midwest’s largest, with 22,000 square feet of ramps and rails for skaters and bikers. Tree plantings and facility upgrades continue to enhance its appeal as both a local and regional destination.
