About Guy Foreman Bicentennial Amphitheater

Named in honor of Mr. Guy Foreman’s lasting legacy of music and community service, the Bicentennial Amphitheater is a cherished venue for cultural events and live performances in Michigan City. Nestled in Washington Park, this outdoor theater comes alive each year during late spring through early fall with concerts, plays, and special gatherings.

The amphitheater is home to the Michigan City Municipal Band’s summer concert series, which takes place every Thursday night, an annual tradition that brings locals and visitors together for free, family-friendly entertainment.
