Senior Center Rental

Located at 2 On the Lake, the Michigan City Senior Center offers a versatile rental space ideal for private events, meetings, and community gatherings. Whether you’re hosting a family celebration or a club meeting, the facility provides a flexible layout, spacious hall, and a variety of amenities to accommodate your needs.

The rentable area includes a full hall (6,132 sq. ft.) that can seat up to 300 people or be divided into two half halls for smaller events. A fully equipped kitchen (539 sq. ft.), accessible restrooms, a coat area, and patio access make the space functional and guest-friendly. Tables and chairs are included with all rentals.

Senior Center offers flexible and affordable rental options for a wide range of events. Rates vary by day, residency status, and whether you’re renting half or the whole facility. All rental fees include Indiana sales tax, and a separate $300 security deposit is required for all bookings.

Please note: weddings booked on weekdays are charged at weekend rates.

Refunds are available with at least 60 days’ written notice. Security deposits are refunded 4–6 weeks after your event if no damage occurs
